Return & Refund Policy
We're committed to ensuring you're completely happy with your TeddyChamps bear! If for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.
All returns require pre-registration from our customer support team. Please contact us as soon as possible, the moment you notify us of your intention to return is what counts for timeline purposes.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your bear must meet these conditions:
- Never been used. The bear should be in the same condition as when you received it, no more handling than you would do when viewing an item in a store. It must remain in sellable condition with no signs of use
- Original packaging & tags intact. All original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories must be attached exactly as they were when you received the item. Everything needs to stay on
- Free from damage. Unless the bear arrived defective from us, it must be damage-free
- Pre-registraion required. Don't send anything back without contacting us first. Just reach out to hello@teddychamps.com and let us know your intention to return
Please remember: Our bears are made to share love and happiness. On every label, we include "Help the Planet: Please donate, sell or gift me to spread more happiness and keep me out of the landfill." We care deeply about sustainability and the planet!
Return Timeframe
All returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order, regardless of region. We keep it simple for our global customers.
How to Initiate a Return
To start the process, email us at:
Please include:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- Your email address used for the order (for verification)
- Reason for your return (Optional for helping us improve our products)
Our customer support team will respond with return instructions and a return address specific to your region. Items sent to the wrong address cannot be processed.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned bear:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of inspection
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part
- If we shipped you the wrong item or a defective bear, we'll provide a prepaid return label
- Depending on the condition of the bear, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply (note: this doesn't apply to EU customers)
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your bear arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@teddychamps.com
- Provide a video of the damaged or incorrect item
- We'll provide a prepaid return label and either send a replacement or process a full refund
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned:
- Items marked as Final Sale or purchased with a discount code
- Personalized or custom-made bears
- Items that have been used, washed, or show any signs of wear
- Gift cards
- Items that don't meet the Return Eligibility conditions above
Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges. Instead, you can return your bear for a refund and place a new order. For size-related issues, reach out to our team, we may be able to offer you a store credit option once your return is processed.
Eco-Returns
We're passionate about protecting the planet! If you'd prefer not to ship your bear back, let us know in your return request. We're open to discussing eco-friendly return options that work for you while keeping our bears out of landfills.
Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled within a limited timeframe. For cancellation details, see our Cancellation Policy.
